Designed from the actual blueprints, this is a highly accurate (outside) replica of this famous weapon. While it can't be made to fire, this design has many movable features if you chose to follow my detailed instructions. The front and rear sights can fold up and down. The charging handle can be retracted which moves the belt feed lever along a cam, the extractor along a cam, and also moves the belt feed slide, just like on the real weapon. The trigger is also movable and the feed cover opens to reveal a detailed interior. This weapon is the precursor to the M2. A 1/2" Copper pipe should be used to add strength to the barrel. Also, a few other brass pins/tubes and screws will need to be purchased in order to align and strengthen the design for vehicle display. The 1/2" copper plumbing pipe sizes to North American standards. You will need files, drills, sandpaper, paint and a few other objects to fully build this prop in order to get the most realistic appearance. You will not be able to just print parts and glue together. It is designed for parts to be post processed before assembly. This model contains a LOT of parts and is NOT a one-piece model. Its not one of those models you just print and glue together. Post processing will be necessary. You should have a FDM printer with a 12" bed. You may be able to subdivide the model for smaller printers using Meshmixer or other software but that is your responsibility. It may not be printable on 3d belt printers. An airsoft or paintball conversion may be possible, however this was not initially designed for that purpose.
