1 1/8" PVC clean out wrenches
thingiverse
I recently encountered a main sewer line backup that required me to access my 1 1/8" square drive PVC drain clean out plug in the 3" PVC clean out stub. However, I was unable to find the necessary tool locally, so I decided to create one myself. In fact, I ended up making two tools - one for manual use and another that provides more leverage. I've since revised the hand tool to accommodate a 19mm hex wrench or driver as well, which may be all you need in some cases. The other tool is quite handy and simple to use. When printing these tools on my Qidi X One (2) using its Simplify 3D profile, they turned out true to their dimensions and fit perfectly without any issues. Fortunately, the first print was successful, so I didn't have to spend a lot of time on trial and error prototyping. However, when I tried printing them on my Klic 'N Print 3D using a Makerbot profile on Simplify 3D, they came out slightly undersized. This is not an unusual issue for me with this printer, as it often prints undersized compared to the design dimensions. As a result, you may need to test fit and resize your tool depending on your specific printer model. Despite this, my slightly loose tool still worked, even if it wasn't perfect. Edit: I've updated the hand wrench with more accurate 19mm hex measurements.
