I discovered that sump pumps are identical in type to vacuum hoses and cost nearly three times as much for the same length. Since they lack an end, I redesigned it to be attached to one. This adapter fits standard 1 1/4 inch hoses and ports perfectly. To use this adapter: * Insert the chamfered side into the hose, making sure the 45-degree angle bit is facing outwards.
