For my educational Qidi X-Maker, I needed a larger nut size (1 1/4 in). I made a larger nut only. I did layer height 0.2mm, and 30% infill. Everything else default. No supports were needed. I used the sample red PLA filament that came with the printer. 4 of the 5 different brands of filament were jumping off the spool during printing, wrapping around the rod, binding and breaking. Typically within the first 30 mins of a job. Test prints with all 5 of the brands I currently own successfully printed. Really opening up the options of filament we can now use. Sharing this remix in case anyone else with this educational printer runs into the same issue.
