Fits snugly inside a 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe that connects to a US garden hose, requiring some plumbers tape for secure installation. The revised version of the fitting has a wider center diameter, making it easier to twist on without requiring excessive force. Printing in TPU has proven effective for this component, allowing it to fit tightly within the pipe with minimal effort required. Some hose connectors will reach the end when twisted on, but may have a "give" and disconnect; instead, twist the hose until you feel it's securely tightened and if it snaps out, tighten again without over-tightening.
