Revamped "Tiny Planetary Gears Set" design by aubenc features D section rods, printed lying down and connected with spacers for correct positioning of ring gears. Easier assembly due to more parts but modified crank uses left-hand thread for self-tightening when turned clockwise. Compatible with "Tiny Planetary Gears Set" sun, planetary gears, and planet holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:23030). Seeking ideas to show gearbox movement; current calculations indicate 5 hours for one tooth pitch at 350 RPM on a cordless drill. Print D section rods as close sliding fit through ring gears and spacers as freely sliding fit. Pre-assemble sub-assembly before sliding onto rods. Custom 'z' scaled spacers may be necessary for proper end plate alignment.
