04 - Heptagrammic Concave Trapezohedron

The Heptagrammic Concave Trapezohedron was specifically designed for the Sinterit Design Competition. To enter a collection of designs for the Math Art theme, I aimed to create as many geometric forms and their respective wireframe structures as possible. Exposing the intricate wireframe structure that makes up each geometric form truly reveals just how complex these models can be, showcasing the full capabilities of the laser sintering process in 3D printing due to the high accuracy required and the absence of support material needed. I created this design using Rhino with the plugin RhinoPolyhedra, then generated edges using Meshmixer.
