#0088 Expandable Thread Spool Rack (wall mount)

My wife's hobby is sewing with custom fabrics, making dresses, hand bags, and other fashion accessories.  One day my daughter (11 yo) asked if I could create a thread spool rack for my wife…and so the idea of the expandable thread spool rack was born.Two versions are provided:Top Rack 7 and Mid Rack 7 - 7 pegs across - fits larger spools up to 1000m Top Rack 9 and Mid Rack 9 - 9 pegs across - fits spools up to 250m They are interchangeable - mix and match as needed!This rack (below) has 7 pegs across and fits thread spools up to 1000m (1093 yards).  For reference, the light colored ones in the middle are new 1000m spools.Shown above are 5 rows of racks, so it fits 35 spools of thread.  Expand according to your needs!IMPORTANT: Take measures to ensure the rack stays stuck on the bed, especially the ends, because ti affects how each rack slides in together. Print them with at least a 4mm outer brim.  This is to prevent or limit how much the ends lift up.You'll need to do a little deburring with a deburring tool to remove the brim remnants - small price to pay for a straight part!Lightly tap the pegs in with the butt of a screw driver.  There's some intended friction in fitment towards the bottom of the peg's travel to help keep each one in place.If you add this to your collection and/or download the model, please click the LIKE button and give it some STARS!Remember, you can earn some Prusameters if you post a pic of your make!  Plus, it would make my day to see it. ;-DHappy Printing!
