007 Cufflinks
thingiverse
I designed custom cufflinks with "007" for a fancy dress event at Secret Cinema's Casino Royale, which was absolutely amazing, by the way. The blank cufflink design was already tuned and ready to go on the slicer settings, so I printed it just a few hours before the big night. For added strength, I recommend printing these cufflinks on their side. This ensures that the post in the middle has plenty of surface area for layer adhesion, and that the attachment to the face with the "007" design is spread out over as many layers as possible. I tried printing them in other orientations, but they were weak and prone to breaking where the face connected to the post. Keep in mind that this does require supports, and you'll likely need some post-processing to get a neat result - sanding and varnish can work wonders. The picture shows one of my quick and dirty attempts without any finishing touches, but I gave the cufflinks away at the end, so I don't have a better photo to share.
