0.12mm Layer Height - Lithophane Calibration

thingiverse

Lithophane calibration wheel specifically designed for 0.12mm step size precision. All other lithophane calibration prints found on thingiverse were created with a 0.1mm step size, but the Ender3 printer has a 0.04z-step, resulting in some layers being rounded up or down to the closest interval. Using 0.04mm steps means that only occasional layer heights of 0.1mm are achieved, while other common heights like 0.2 and 0.4 are hit more often. Printing with magic numbers on an Ender3 usually requires a high resolution of 0.12mm layer height to produce accurate results. This calibration wheel is designed to be printed at 0.12mm layer height, resulting in each segment being exactly one layer higher than the previous one, without any segments appearing thicker or thinner. The first segment represents one layer (0.12mm), while the second segment has two layers (0.24mm), and so on until the 25th segment with 25 layers (3mm). This calibration wheel provides an ideal indication of opacity for each thickness your printer is capable of, from 0.12mm to 3mm. 5-10-20 Made engraved text significantly larger.
