Update - 29/09/2020I have removed the 3D printable stand from download as keeping the clock at that high an angle does effect the sand and the strength of the movement. I will design another stand with a lower angle and see how well the clock copes.

...Nails and 3D printed parts are cheap and easy to replace. 7.6mm fits best. Any nail with Ø6-7.8mm (8mm model) and a length of at least 15-20cm should work. I'll add a 6mm model for smaller nails but they may be to short or don't stick in the ground.
