I really want to do retractable movie accurate Shuri gauntlets with blue pyrotechnic enhancements and have started on the active shutter Spiderman eyes, but without a bit of help it's hard to justify the ridiculous amount of time it takes to do stuff...

I used Bendlay because it is extremely translucent (91% of light passes through)...I then hooked up an RGB LED strip, wrapped it around the inner shell and hooked it up to an IR receiver so it can be controlled with a remote...Bendlay...
