I swapped out my metal upgrade components for something better. Since the bearings were attached to the bottom of the old metal mounts, I had to take off the lower bracket that held them in place. This eliminated the need to carve it out afterwards.

......I decided to adapt the z-motor mount. Just print it replace the original z-motor-mount plate (i3-04 and i3-05) and the x-axis can be replaced by a prusa x-axis design or the prusa bear-upgrade design. I will add pictures of the printer if it's ready.

I replaced the 8mm bearings with 10mm high-quality bearings and reinforced the shaft supports, then printed custom bearing holders that perfectly fit in place of the original ones.
