I tried printing (a short piece) of the slide-in version, but when I noticed I needed to remove the whole gantry to fit it, chose to use the T-nut version. It didn't align properly with the drag chain though, as the cable clip was 5 mm farther away...

... but felt a bit too tight, so I created a new z-mount and now it's running very smoothly. I've been able to adjust for perfect alignment. The motor mount screws are also the same size. However, the T-nut screws need to be slightly smaller at 10mm.
