An adaptor to connect a vacuum cleaner to the Proxxon disc sander.It is quieter than the original.

This is an adaptor that let you connect to a DeWalt sander dust exhaust to a vacuum cleaner.

I required a crank handle for my project (StumpyNubs DIY Drum Sander) and created an improved version.

... ... The vacuum cleaner hose has an internal diameter of 37mm. The hose pushes onto the adaptor and the adaptor pushes onto the sander. A bit pointless having a cordless sander when it's connected to a hose but it does help reduce/remove the dust.

Only time will tell how long a 3d printed gear will work for this application, but if mine breaks I'll update the post with that info (if I remember I posted it). ... Ultimately I'll probably try to get one machined out of metal, but this is a good...

... blow away the dust from my sander out into the open air, but I'm convinced you could easily attach a dust bag to the end of it. While I don't know if all sanders have the same type of vacuum hookups, this one fits perfectly on my Mastercraft sander.
