Mrcleanr6's candle holders are very nice, but they had a recess in the base and overhangs at the top of the candle holder, meaning they had to have a lot of support material to print properly. I removed the inset area in the base...who looks at it, and it gives a larger area for a soft velvet base to prevent scratches to desks and tables. I also cut off the top of the candle holder, added a locating block, and it can be printed with no support. The original cover was used, it was the only thing I didn't change. Parts can be glued together with cyano glue, just make sure the top is straight before it sets. Instructions Print with approx. 1mm shell, 10-20% infill, Speed 30mm/s or less, Less gives a better finish with less bounce shadows on the rivets. When printed, glue the top onto the base (same top fits both small and tall bases), fill the centre with sand or unused kitty litter, glue in the cap and paint. See thing:377116 for other info on rope etc. I used 8mm sisal rope, glued on with cyano, then burn off the strands that hang off with a lighter, being careful not to melt the plastic.
